Rebecca joined Zimmer, Bond, Fay & Overlund in May of 2016. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In 2015, Rebecca received concurrent Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD.
While at the University of South Dakota, Rebecca spent her time participating on the Moot Court Board, Trial Team, writing for different publications, and working as a Graduate Assistant. She also clerked during law school at the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Iowa in Sioux City, Iowa, as well as the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating law school, Rebecca decided to head west to launch her career here in Portland, with an emphasis in family law. Rebecca understands that many clients are going through a very challenging time and she will provide trustworthy, compassionate, and hardworking counsel.
Her personal interests include live music, heading to the movies, participating in local trivia nights, and spending time with friends and family, including her mischievous cat, Duke.
